Special packings




Greased cotton packing

Features Cotton fibre diagonal braided and impregnated with grease.
It can be graphited for seal on rotary pumps or treated with PTFE.
Applications Seal with warm and cold fresh water, steam. Suitable for seal on shafts, diving
rods, for low and medium pressure. Particularly indicated for stuffing box.


Acrylic packing with PTFE

Features Packing made of diagonal braiding of synthetic acrylic yarns impregnated one by one with PFTE dispersion and lubricants. Very flexible and elastic.
Applications Suitable for pumps and valves.


Acrylic packing with PTFE and graphite

Features It's made of synthetic acrylic yarns and graphite, impregnated one by one with special graphite powder with the addition of corrosion inhibitor and with lubricants of excellent quality. Very flexible and soft, absence of friction and excellent chemical inertia.
Applications It's uitable for water, steam, oil, gas, piston pumps, centrifugal pumps, valves, and suitable for the chemical, oil, shipbuilding, industries, power plants, cement plants and refineries.


Pure PTFE packing

Features Manufactured with diagonal braiding of pure PTFE impregnated yarn by yarn with PTFE dispersion. Good tensile strength and high resistance against chemical agents (apart from strong concentrated acids). It can be lubricated in order to have the lowest friction factor.
Applications Pumps, valves, agitators, centrifuge. Used mainly in chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. Suitable for foodstuff industry.


Pure PTFE yarns and graphited packing

Features It's manufactured with diagonal braiding of pure PTFE yarns impregnated yarn by yarn with PTFE dispersion with incorporated graphite and a high temperature lubricant of excellent quality.
Applications It is mainly used in mixers, mixers and rotating shafts and it is excellent for sealing operations of water, steam, sludge, solvents, oils and most alkaline and corrosive acids.


Aramide packing with dispersed PTFE

Features Diagonal-braided aramide packing and impregnated with dispersed PTFE based lubricants with the addition of running-in lubricant. The outstanding tensile strength of aramide yarn gives the packing an excellent mechanical resistance and guarantees a long life even in presence of fluids with abrasive characteristics.
Applications Pumps and valves, agitators, centrifuge, water-gates, expansion joints, piston shafts, steam, water, solvents, light acids and alkalis, oils. For naval industry and paper mills as it does not stain.


Aramide packing and PTFE yarn

Features It is manufactured with a yarn-crossing composed of aramid yarn and PTFE yarn mainly used in the applications where slurry and abrasive residues are involved.
Applications This packing is suitable for sealing on pumps and valves, it has an excellent resistance to chemicals and it can also be used to seal a wide range of chemicals like solvents, fuels, oils and the most common alkaline acids.


Panflon packing

Features Made of PAN fibre yarns impregnated one by one inside and ouside with dispersed PFTE and lubricated. Extremely flexible, excellent chemical inertia.
Applications Universal packing expecially in naval field. This packing allows a considerable saving, as it reduces the need to store different types of packings for various applications.


Pangiflon packing

Features Made of PAN fibre yarns impregnated one by one inside and ouside with dispersed PFTE and molybdenum bisulphide. Extremely flexible, excellent chemical inertia.
Applications Universal packing expecially in naval field. This packing allows a considerable saving, as it reduces the need to store different types of packings for various applications.


Expanded graphite packing with stainless steel reinf.

Features It's made of pure expanded mineral graphite reinforced with inconel. It is a specific packing for seal on all kinds of industrial valves with all fluids and gas except strong oxidants.
Applications It's suitable for valves in the presence of fluids and gas.


Carbon-graphite packing

Features It is a packing made of expanded graphite yarn, it has excellent flexibility, and heat dissipation properties along with very low friction coefficient, with excellent chemical and thermal stability.
Applications It's suitable for valves, mixers, boilers, cellulose and paper feeding pumps, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, power plants, for cold and hot water sealing, or steam, with chemicals, hot gas, alcohols, solvents, etc.


Glass braided packing with PTFE

Features It is made of 6 to 9 micron glass fibre yarn. This packing is impregnated with a mixture based on PTFE and inert lubricant silicone-free. It is a packing for general applications and of excellent quality, which meets the requirement of economy and ease of use.
Applications Glass fibre packing with PTFE is suitable for pumps, valves, chemical industries, petrochemicals and general industrial use.


Glass braided packing graphited inside and outside

Features It's made of twisted texturized glass fibre yarn. It is a special high performance braided rope produced from glass yarn, having a braided construction, impregnated with oil, wax and graphite.
Applications It is a braided rope for general use; It's suitable for pumps, valves, chemical and petrochemicals industries and general industrial use.
